The Beatrice Community Hospital Foundation's 23rd Annual Catch the Glow Gala was a great success, bringing together our community to support healthcare initiatives in Gage County. Since its beginning in 2013, the event has become a cornerstone of local philanthropy, uniting residents, businesses, and healthcare professionals to champion patient-centered care and wellness services.
One of the evening's most moving moments was the Mission Moment, where Diane Oltman, a breast cancer survivor, shared her powerful journey of overcoming breast cancer. Diane credited much of her success to the dedicated staff at Beatrice Community Hospital, whose expertise and compassionate care provided her with the support she needed throughout her treatment. In connection with this, the foundation is excited to announce plant to support the acquisition of the Brevera Breast 3D Biopsy System at Beatrice Community Hospital. This advanced technology will enhance the hospital's ability to detect breast cancer early and accurately, improving patient outcomes in our area.
The evening also features an exciting live auction, where quests bid on unique items, including an All-Inclusive vacation to Mexico and much more. The silent auction offered a wide variety of items, and attendees enjoyed the opportunity to place bids while mingling with fellow supporters.
The success of the year's event is a testament to the generosity and commitment of our community. Thanks to the support of our donors, volunteers, committee members, and guests, we are one step closer to ensuring that high-quality healthcare is accessible to all residents in Southeast Nebraska.
