Why Is This Needed?
The Wymore Medical Clinic, a vital healthcare provider in southeast Nebraska, has experienced a 35% increase in patient visits over the past four years. This surge reflects the growing reliance on the clinic. Despite this increase in demand, the current facility, acquired by BCH in 1992 and only minimally updated in 2010, is no longer capable of accommodating the increasing needs of the population it serves.
What was Proposed?
To address these challenges and ensure continued high-quality care, BCH proposed the construction of a new, 7,200-square-foot medical facility designed to meet both current and future healthcare needs, improving patient care, accessibility, and long-term growth. The Beatrice Community Hospital Board of Directors approved the proposal.
How Will This Be Accomplished?
The land for the new clinic was secured, a floor plan was selected, and construction has begun. The Beatrice Community Hospital Foundation is dedicated to supporting the healthcare services provided in the Wymore/Blue Springs community and surrounding areas through a Capital Campaign for the new Wymore Medical Clinic.
