Big Give Gage Success!
Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, this year's Big Give Gage project raised $37,647.48, providing enough funds to purchase a new Panda Infant Warmer for our Labor and Delivery Department.
This lifesaving equipment provides immediate warmth, continuous monitoring, and emergency support in those critical first minutes of life. With three delivery rooms and previously only two warmers, this addition ensures every baby born at BCH has the safest, strongest start possible.
A Warm Thank You!
This success was truly a community effort, and we are so grateful. From hospital volunteers and board members, to staff who jumped into the Penny war, to the Gage County Foundation for hosting Big Give Gage, every hand played a role. Our Labor and Delivery team brought smiles by sharing their baby photos (because even our providers were once BCH babies too!) and nearly 100 staff joined the fun of guessing who was who. Community members showed up for the free-will offering luncheon, donors stepped forward with challenge gifts, and quarters piled up as "sabotage" in the coin wars.
The energy, creativity, and generosity poured into this project reminded us that caring for our newest members is something our entire community celebrates together. This wasn't just about raising dollars - it was about raising support, spirit, and pride in what we can accomplish when we work side by side.
