Dear friend and supporter of the Beatrice Community Hospital,

The Beatrice Family and Internal Medicine clinic opened over seven months ago, enabling seamless communication and increased access to resources. This expansion marked a pivotal moment for Beatrice Community Hospital and its dedicated providers.

Research indicates that visual art boosts patient satisfaction and cultivates feelings of safety and connection in healthcare settings. While local artwork adorns the waiting area, the space behind the waiting room door presents a unique opportunity for community involvement. Renowned photographer Kurt Johnson has captured the beautiful, local landscapes, which we aim to feature throughout the clinic to foster a welcoming atmosphere for our patients. The floor plan included below provides a diagram of where artwork can be displayed throughout the clinic. Individuals can contribute to the artwork on display in the clinic by selecting photos from the portfolio at the link above and matching them with a colored dot on the diagram, which correlates to a specific size conducive to the wall space and a price amount for each size of canvas. The colored lines on the diagram display each pod in the clinic, where certain providers are located. In addition, these canvases can be purchased in memory of someone, and if so, a metal placard will be placed next to the canvas in tribute.

These exhibits of local artwork will be on display for many years to come and will contribute to positive health outcomes for our patients, leaving a lasting impact on the health of our community and positively contributing to the quality of care provided at the Beatrice Family and Internal Medicine clinic at the Beatrice Community Hospital.
